Abstract

This article aimed to analyze the importance of having a real and active Political-Pedagogical Project in the context of Human Rights Education (HRE) and Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations. Based on bibliographical and documentary research, this article contextualizes historical milestones in Education in Brazil, with regard to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Ethnic-Racial Relations, as well as highlights the relevant legal documents. This theme is expected to open spaces for constant reflections in the search for a type of education that promotes training based on human dignity and against any type of violation of rights.
