EDUCATIONAL PLANNING: STATE OF KNOWLEDGE ON MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF MUNICIPAL EDUCATION PLANS IN THE NORTHEAST REGION OF BRAZIL

Abstract

This article analyzes the perception of the Coordinating Committee of Monitoring and Evaluation regarding the established work agenda, the monitoring flow and the flow of evaluation and referral to correct flows, according to goals outlined in its Municipal Education Plans and participatory-democratic management itself, observing the Brazilian regions and culminating in the Metropolitan Region of Sorocaba (RMS). This is an exploratory research, of qualitative nature, with documentary analysis as an initial technique, seen to ensure: a) location of documents (institutional, in the case of this object); b) Assess its credibility, relevance and representativeness; c) Observe the content of the document first possible impressions and in a second moment the application of a semi-structured interview. It is expected that this research can support the Evaluation and Monitoring Commissions of the Municipal Education Plans of the Metropolitan Region of Sorocaba and Brazil as a whole.
