EDUCATIONAL PLANNING: STATE OF KNOWLEDGE ON MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF MUNICIPAL EDUCATION PLANS IN THE SOUTH REGION OF BRAZIL

Abstract

This article aims to discuss educational planning in the southern region. This work is part of a larger work that covers the five regions of Brazil on the subject and is developed by Geplage, a study group at the Federal University of São Carlos, Sorocaba campus. According to the qualitative methodology, from 2015 to 2020 works were sought on the platforms Capes theses and dissertations, Capes periodicals, Anpae, Anped, Scielo and BDTD on the southern region and its monitoring and evaluation of municipal education plans. A total of seven works were found, one from the state of Santa Catarina, four from Paraná and two from Rio Grande do Sul. epistemological. The works presented challenges in the implementation of the PMEs, in the fulfillment of the goals and in the process of monitoring and evaluation.
