Abstract

This article refers to research on Educational Planning: monitoring and evaluation of Municipal Education Plans in the Metropolitan Region of Sorocaba, organized by GEPLAGE - Study and Research Group State Policy Planning and Education Management. Inserting themselves in the research, through the Geplage UEMG/ Passos Group, in a network work, the authors analyzed publications present in the southeastern region of Brazil, regarding the established work agenda, the monitoring flow and the evaluation flow and referrals to the flow correction, according to the goals outlined in their Municipal Education Plans. As a methodology, state-of-the-art research was chosen, studies were centralized on the main platforms for publishing theses, dissertations and scientific articles from qualis A1 to B1, with descriptors defined within the time frame of 2015-2020. A considerable number of publications were identified that contribute greatly to studies related to the established theme.
