Abstract

 The National Education Plan (PNE) established twenty goals for States and Municipalities to meet, with clear objectives on improving education in their spaces. Among them we find Goal 15, which indicates the mandatory and feasibility of Higher Education for the teacher who teaches in Basic Education. This article comes with the proposal to detail the attributions of the Professor who works in the early years, from his training in Pedagogy. The aim is to build an overview of what is indicated in the guidelines and what we need in school practice. This dialogue allows identifying viable paths in the training of this professional, as well as raising gaps necessary for better performance in educational institutions.
