Abstract

The School Regulations are the guiding document that establishes the functioning and
organization of the school. It details the functions, organization and rules that guide the
progress of the institution and its relationship with the community. This study presents a survey
of academic literature that addresses the analysis of School Regulations. Theses and
dissertations published in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations database
were collected. It aims to analyze different research that presents the theme of School
Regulations. For this, a systematic literature review was used as a methodology. As a result,
there was a lack of publications on the topic, as well as the dichotomy between the approaches
found. It was concluded that this is a subject to be explored by research, taking into account
the different ways of thinking about the Rules.
