Abstract

There is no denying the need for discussion and referral of actions for the care of young children and their right to education. From a political perspective, this research of qualitative approach and exploratory nature discusses the treatment given the theme, starting with the nomenclatures adopted over a chronological time in Brazilian historicity. The documents produced, the role of women in the education of children and the State regarding the responsibility of meeting the demands caused by the market stand out. The results explain that there is a request and need for the sieve of public policies to contemplate not only the right guaranteed, but the example of basic education, the impertinactivity of the offer and access by the public authorities regarding early childhood education.
