Abstract

Countless studies in the area of education show that advances are taking place in relation to teaching and learning strategies. Interdisciplinarity has been contributing a lot to this process, as it allows students to have a more comprehensive knowledge of the disciplines studied in the classroom. The disciplines are closely intertwined, for this reason, interdisciplinarity helps teaching practice, as it allows integrating, articulating, working together. Teachers must be the protagonists in the implementation of interdisciplinary practices at school. Through this work, a bibliographical analysis on education and the contribution of interdisciplinarity in the teaching and learning process is presented. With this study, it is possible to contribute to a reflection on the importance given to the student's motivation for education and it can be seen that working interdisciplinary requires effort and changes in attitudes of both teachers and students.
