Abstract

This research aims to learn about the policies implemented to guarantee the right to daycare: What has the researches published in the Group 05, State and Educational Policy, of ANPEd, that deals with public policies in daycare pointed out about improvements in the offer of this stage of Basic Education in Brazil? This research had as theoretical reference, literature review and official documents published by the brazilian Ministry of Education and laws about Education, especially about early childhood education - daycare. The methodology used is the systematic mapping and the interpretative analysis of the productions. As a result, there is a need for evaluations of the effectiveness of public policies aimed at assessing the fulfillment of the first goal in order to identify the main shortcomings of the policy, so that the quantity of spots in day-care centers can be increased, as well as to ensure quality.
