Abstract

The objective of this study is to establish connections between the curriculum and management within the school context. It is considered that public schools play a fundamental role in adapting public policies and have the capacity to promote truly democratic relations between curriculum and management. It is believed that the curriculum, when implemented for human emancipation, is directly linked to the principles of democracy and culture, with a focus on interculturality. The administrative and managerial function is understood both in the sphere of school management and in the pedagogical dimension, since the central purpose of the school is the education of students, which implies specific criteria for organization. The methodology used included a bibliographic review of the concepts of management, administration, curriculum, and culture. The main results highlight the importance of educational administration as a crucial tool for achieving educational objectives by organizing schools efficiently, optimizing resources, and creating environments conducive to student development. It is concluded that educational administration plays an essential role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of educational institutions, emphasizing the importance of democratic and participatory management to build inclusive and high-quality school environments.
