Abstract

This article presents research related to the production of knowledge in theses and dissertations with a focus on the theme Teachers with disabilities. Studies made available in the Catalog of the Bank of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel were mapped, without defining a time frame, where a total of 23 productions were found that underwent analysis in the following indicators: year of publication of the productions, the geographic location, the nature of the institution, the researchers' master's program, the condition of teachers with disabilities participating in the research, the theoretical perspective of the dissertations and the central themes of the research. It is proposed to deepen the debate by demonstrating how the topic has been discussed by researchers, highlighting the protagonism and empowerment of teachers with disabilities from an inclusive perspective and under the paradigm of the social model.
