The results indicate that the teacher needs to: understand the linguistic difference of the deaf people, develop positive attitudes about the inclusion of deaf students, modify teaching and assessment procedures and instruments, in addition to understanding the role of the Brazilian Sign Language Interpreter/Translator/ Portuguese in this process to develop activities that include deaf people in teaching activities.
