Abstract

This article analyzes the impacts on Brazilian education after the 1990s, with the historical process of globalization. The qualitative research used systematic readings of scientific articles and official documents and websites from the Brazilian government. The development of the article starts with a contextualization of the globalization process and then discusses the influences of international and transnational organizations in the educational area, mainly concerning the forms of assessment of education - the evaluations standards -, the design and formulation of the curriculum - the BNCC curriculum reform - and accountability policies in Brazil. It was concluded that Brazilian education follows these organizations, guiding its conception of education from a neoliberal perspective, developing more regulation and control processes.
