Abstract

The study reflects on the school inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, based on the National Policy on Special Education from the Perspective of Inclusive Education (Brazil, 2008) and the National Policy for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Law No. 12,764, of 2012) in relation to material and human resources in the school context. The reflections aimed at this inclusion were carried out through qualitative research and interviews with informants from a public school in a municipality in the interior of Mato Grosso do Sul, to identify resources and practices for inclusion, as well as the lack of them in the school context. This results in some challenges, which in this field of knowledge are still faced at both a theoretical, technical and social level, without many questions and few answers related to the meaning of school inclusion.
